ROSEBUD baby......................

 Had dinner at bistro the other

 night and listened to conjecture

 about Citizen Kane. Just loved it.

 Yes, the knuckleheads and movie.

 Very very groovy, baby. Of course

 conversation after many beers and

 half bottle of Tapestry gone at my 

 table was into "the fable." Thought

 I got mental cable and joined in.

 "So what does "Rosebud" mean to

 you?"  my opening suggestion. It

 turned funny with, "indigestion?"

 Orson baby would show indignation.

 "Must be a cherry!" exclaimed by a

 youthful participant. Vagina, clit and

 number of other body parts, some to

 be found at "Parts Unknown!" So I

 turned to serious tone and asked if

 anyone had something to atone. It

 got quiet as if room was entered by

 Marshall Wyatt, Earp that is. 

 Moment Orson baby said "Rosebud"

 at end of movie was just before bed.

 Wearing bathrobe of finer thread. So

 what is something anyone dreads?

 Like something one may not be able

 to get out of the way like losing hair

 due to stylish dreads? Too simple.

 

 For me, "Rosebud" is my greatest 

 loss. End of childhood and beginning

 of loss of innocence............
