On this day n 1966 I was
honorably discharged from
military service, DD214 time.
Already home for a week and
got taste of anti-Viet Nam syndrome.
Mistake by sitting in Fort Dix, N.J.
far, far from Viet Nam. Draftee who
lucked out with great clerk position
but didn't care if legal document he
was typing was correct. Tried to clear
up error with "1960's white out" and
handed me smudged document saying.
"is this all right?" Officer was signing
blanks and allowing clerks to run wild.
Safeness of the home front warriors.......
Today is another pandemic day and for
us in San Francisco another stay at home
order in place. Life is mimicking bad 1950's
horror movies. Lots of bad actors.........
remember never to ask Alice's children to
give up convenience..................
Barry McChangky
running QUACK!
out.......
