DOWNTOWN!

DOWNTOWN!  Where do you go to  pay bribe for a lie?  DOWNTOWN!  Every city, every town  has place where one  can wipe smile from  circus clown, but vote  will give them a crown!  DOWNTOWN!  When in need of help  place where they will  let you down.  Where there is no water  yet one can drown, at  funeral all that are guilty  will wear comic frown!  DOWNTOWN!  Big timers spreading all  the dough, with out anyone  trying to know. Then leave  town sailing not in boat  one would row! Was name  Curly, Larry or was it Moe?  When bribe is high then  personal prestige is low!  DOWNTOWN!  California ladies running  or rerunning for office!  Been at the helm or want  change from old captains?  No matter what happens!  How can jobs that "pay"  so little cost so much?  That it is such, well it is  DOWNTOWN!  Waiting for jobs that were  lost but moved by American  firms still exist, who spoke  up, who tried to resist?  Are unions about only "our"  members or all union members?  SOLIDARITY IS STRENGTH!  but who remembers?       Barry McChangky
