SOUTH BRONX BLUES........

Came from hood that was  not in poverty but very poor,  did not want world just a  little moor, Oh Baby!  Got The South Bronx Blues!    Not bunch of winners but  never believed we were born  to lose, local government did  tighten up the screws!  Hanging out together called  The Black and Blues, always  knew to get what we wanted  had to pay man's dues, Oh Baby,  I got The South Bronx Blues!    Early morning edition of  The Daily news had headline  to blow every ones fuse!  Dems and GOP locked in verbal  battle is only a ruse, leading our  nation without reading clues!  Why has Alice's kids leaving  herd to join more moos, are they  found sitting in pews? Oh Baby,  Got The South Bronx Blues!    Smoking our pot, drinking wine  and beer. If you lived on OUR  block was held dear, no one will  bother you there was no fear!  When landlords burned our homes  were not rescued by Smokey the Bear!  Getting firemen to come became a  major dare, even police would not  look into our stare, Oh Baby, I got  those South Bronx Blues!    Traveling across Alice so many are  left out of the game, this period in  our history will be known as  Time of Shame! When the greedy kept  upper hand and became more lame!  COMPROMISE discussions are form  of delay, and delay is most despicable  part of denial! Politicians are made  and some are senile, always on show  by Larry King doing new dance we  call The Denial!
