Tuesday is wettest day of
all of last year that has even
Smokey the Bear heading
for long wet winter sleep.
From morning birds no peep
but mud in back already deep.
Don't need canoe or jeep but
indoors to stay dry will keep.
Don't cry for me Argentina or
weep..........
Local homes having roofs going
to the winter wet test with all now
just hoping for the best. This is not
winter for living outdoors or in a nest.
Homeless are being put to the test......
"Their" fellow Americans yet do to best.
Yet in outer space, foreign places Alice
continues to spend, invest....?
Holiday time is over, time to pay up!
Can "you" make "all" those payments
or crying while holding out tin cup?
Will future dinner menu be Christmas
pup..........?
