It is morning of
Thanksgiving Day,
most will eat while
others will pray.
Time of year to say yes,
plenty of time to have
nothing to say!
Harvest is in for it is
the fall, we still have
troops in Korea, Iraq
and Afghanistan who
are standing tall!
Dug in on all fronts
and hear the call,
won't be doing Macy's
this year at the mall!
When government won't
stand together, how long
before the fall?
Why do citizens have this
expectation that politicians
know it all? They have yet
to see winners sipping wine
and spilling toasts all over
themselves at Inaugural Ball!
Is it not "the prize" of winning
an election "to serve the people?"
