Morning after night before
at The Bell Tower with buds
from Chi-town. John and Kim
Amtrak. I arrived early and
watched all those young women
cheering and rooting for home
team, San Francisco Giants.
ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK GIANTS!
Great conversation, Tapestry and of
course steak. Place was alive and it
looks like Bell Tower will continue to
survive. Not easy for a bistro..........
Did not hear much political talk while
we dined. Interest in election I could
not find but another round to remind
we were there for fun of it! Life is good!
Taxi home was driver right out of Prince
of Bell Air, "smell you later , dude!"
Driver gentleman smelling real crude!
Ah to have a lude..................
Racing from Belmont on sloppy track
and watched first two races go to long
shots. Glad I stepped back for there
will be more races Wednesday. Can wait.
