Western edition of Alice
awakes to sun and chill.
Many still heading up to
the mountains to get fill
of skiing. Just being.
Back in east thoughts all
about coming beast. Not
winter but The Donald.
What a way to live daily life
with thoughts of upcoming
strife or next rip with wife.
Getting slice of life takes lot
more than owning a knife....
Looking from outside in with
holiday celebration. Celebrate
and dance to the music while
watching bank account cough.
Worried day to day about paying
bills and spend holiday money in
great spills. Then "worry about a
thing called the future!" If "they"
would only admit it is really all
about NOW! That makes sense....
Florida Street has been peaceful
and kids are seen without parents.
Houses decked out for holiday and
all I got to say is take deep breath
for here comes another year........
Should "we" learn to care for our
environment may see return of hero,
Smokey the Bear............
